It's been 10 years since Shannon left this world...I remember that dreadful day & the feeling of my heart dropping when I heard the news like it was yesterday.
 ...The music lives on...as does he through his words. Miss you, Shannon...Miss you, Blind Melon. "Oh, a flower you are to my land..."

I'm sure some of you will be interested in this...
Sadly enough, this is the only magazine I've been able to find (thank you, Google) that has anything about Shannon/Melon. I miss Shannon so much. I hope he knows how much we all love and miss him, and that we think about him and play his music all the time.
I flipped through a ton of magazines page by page to see if there was any kind of mention of Shannon, but there wasn't. Rolling Stone, Spin, none of them mentioned him. Blind Melon was good enough for Rolling Stone's cover but they can't even give Shannon's 10 year ann. a tiny mention? They're getting letters from me. yeah...The music world needs Shannon's energy badly...so many pessimistic assholes litter the landscape...It depresses me...there is still great music out there...it's just most famous musicians that I like at least have generally a negative outlook on life...that's what I miss most about Shannon...I mean the music of Blind Melon is a given
