This may sound strange, really really strange. Or not. I've been a Blind Melon fan since their first album. I loved them before they broke up, I still love them today. I've been listening to their music a lot lately, and just wondering about things and being depressed for how early on in life such a great talent had to die. I feel even more depressed when I realize how underrated this band is, and how this band will never receive the amount of praise they deserve. I listen to the song "Time" and just feel really sad for the way things turned out for this band. I hope the other members are still able to do what they want to musically. I know Christopher Thorn still works on projects. Anyways, if anyone in the band might read this, I really appreciate all the hard work you guys put into your music. It means the world to your fans.

yeah...same here...I only know a handful of people who know anything except no rain. Noone I've ever played soup to had heard it before and all the people I've played it to have liked...but i love it...easily one of the best(top ten) albums ever made.
In some ways I which they were more well known but the good thing is besides No Rain I never have to worry about any of their music being overexposed...it can always be fresh when I listen to it Regardless, their music means a lot to me and I have listened to it regularly over the last 13 years |

It might sound stupid, but I listened Blind Melon for the first time yesterday (shame on me), and started reading the biography, and I was really touched when I read that Shannon died years ago. I really fell in love with the music. Oh well, it's not really comparable with someone who has been listening Blind Melon for 13 years, but still..
